Our Update


To our Goldpine community,


The Government has confirmed that from 11:59pm Tuesday 7th of September, New Zealand (excluding Auckland) will move to Alert Level 2. We wanted to give you a heads up on what this means and what we are doing to make sure you are looked after.

All Goldpine stores are now open as normal, following the appropriate social distancing protocols. Whilst our stores will seem as though we are open as normal, we all still need to do our part to restrict contact.

At Alert Level 2, the safety and wellbeing of everyone remains a top priority. We are following the Ministry of Health’s guidelines and have put safety measures in place to keep everyone safe (see ordering tab for more information).

As of Wednesday the 8th of September, our stores are open under Level 2 restrictions.

Our stores are now open

Our stores will be open as normal and customers will be able to drive-in with appropriate social distancing protocols. We ask that you wear a face covering when entering the store and keep a 2 metre distance from other customers at all times.

Contact Tracing

Contact tracing will be required at all of our Goldpine stores to ensure efficiency, accuracy and help to stop the spread of Covid. This can be done through the NZ COVID Tracer app or recorded manually.

Deliveries

Deliveries will be performed with distancing, hygiene and tracing in mind. We will require details from the customer as to where the goods should be placed before leaving our premises. Direct to site deliveries will also continue.

We have implemented thorough hygiene and cleaning practices across all our sites.

We have clearly documented policies and guidelines for our team and customers to adhere to.

Online Form

Our enquiry form on our contact page is a great place to go when enquiring about products. We ensure the priority of these so that you won't be held waiting for a response. The enquiry will be directed to the appropriate branch and we'll be onto it as fast as possible.

Phone

Our phones have always, and will remain, a key contact method with you. We know that it's often easier to jump on the phone and chat through the project or necessary product, and that won't change. You can find the number for your nearest branch on our store page, otherwise call 0800 2 GOLDPINE.

Email

Some of you already have existing relationships with members of our team and we encourage you to continue to use these methods. You may have an email for the store or a member within it and this is also a great way to place orders or enquire about product.

Social Distancing


While we are as happy as everyone to be continuing to move towards some normality, we will continue to follow the recommendations made by the Government on how to conduct business.

The rural community has forever valued the worth in a handshake and we have been a huge advocate for this. Relationships drive the community and it's something we all hope to see continue in the future but the health, safety and wellbeing of the community takes priority and we will act as we need to.

We will encourage people to be aware of their contact and social distance but this will not be enforced at any of our sites.

Hygiene


COVID-19 has set different standards around the country in regards to hygiene and there is no difference at Goldpine. Our customers and our team are our priority and we are doing what we can to ensure the health and safety of both parties.

If is for this reason that we have increased our hygiene practices around the entire company. We encourage our team to wash hands regularly and operate at best practice for hygiene.
