Our Update

To our Goldpine community,

The government has just confirmed that New Zealand will be moving to Alert Level 2 on the Thursday 14th of May.

We wanted to give you a heads up on what this means and what we are doing to make sure you are looked after.

We can take your order or enquiry now and we will move towards a closer form of normal trading from Thursday 14th May. Our gates will be open as normal but we will still encourage best practice in relation to the Government's advice. Whilst our stores will seem as though we are open as normal, we all still need to do our part to restrict contact.

While at Alert Level 2, the safety and wellbeing of everyone remains a top priority. We are following the Ministry of Health's guidelines and have put the following measures in place to keep everyone safe:

Primarily, we are back to business as usual.


Our stores will be able to arrange for orders to be picked up and you may move around our site as usual while practicing social distancing.


We can arrange deliveries direct to site, as long as we continue to practice social distancing on your site.

Social Distancing:

We will maintain distancing protocols amongst our team and with our customers whether they're on our site or yours. Our stores give us the benefit to space out throughout the large space on our sites.

Hygiene Practices:

We have implemented thorough hygiene and cleaning practices across all our sites.


We have clearly documented policies and guidelines for our team and customers to adhere to.

As from Thursday the 14th of May, our gates will be open as normal. We will still be operating in a slightly different manner from what you may be use to but this is to ensure the safety of all our team and the safety of the customers while on our sites. We want to ensure we are doing our part.

As far as ordering or purchasing your product goes, we still have the our previous channels available but now you can also browse at our stores.

Methods available:

In-store purchase

Our team are ready and waiting in store to help with any project you may have. While social distancing still applies, and we prefer contactless payment through account, our team can take you through the options and help with loading your product as they once did before.

Online Form

Our enquiry form on our contact page is a great place to go when enquiring about product. We ensure the priority of these so that you won't be held waiting for a response. The enquiry will be directed to the appropriate branch and we'll be onto it as fast as possible.


Our phones have always and will remain a key contact method with you. We know that it's often easier to jump on the phone and chat through the project or necessary product, and that won't change. You can find the number for your nearest branch on our store page, otherwise call 0800 2 GOLDPINE.


Some of you already have existing relationships with members of our team and we encourage you to continue to use these methods. You may have an email for the store or a member within it and this is also a great way to place orders or enquire about product.


Social Distancing

While we are as happy as everyone to be moving towards some normality, we will continue to follow the recommendations made by the Government on how to conduct business.

The rural community has forever valued the worth in a handshake and we have been a huge advocate for this. Relationships drive the community and it's something we all hope to see continue in the future but the health, safety and wellbeing of the community takes priority and we will act as we need to.

For this reason, we will enforce social distancing on our sites. This means, to the best of our ability we will be operating at a 2-metre distance from person to person. The best part about our stores being so sparse is that this should be easy for our customers and our team.



COVID-19 has set different standards around the country in regards to hygiene and there is no difference at Goldpine. Our customers and our team are our priority and we are doing what we can to ensure the health and safety of both parties.

If is for this reason that we have increased our hygiene practices around the entire company. We encourage our team to wash hands regularly and operate at best practice for hygiene.
